Energy Careers course
Deep Dive: Upstream Careers
Go deeper into the careers behind finding, developing and producing oil and gas. This deep dive follows a field through six upstream work stages (Discover, Develop, Drill, Complete, Produce and Support) and shows you who does the work at each one. Explore 27 detailed career profiles, each with a typical day, entry routes, skills to build and an illustrative progression. Learn to read a real vacancy, separate what you must have from what you can build, and choose an entry route you can back with evidence. You'll finish with a personal career shortlist, a dated 30-day action plan and a GELife certificate of completion. It builds on Oil and Gas Career Paths but works on its own. No engineering degree required.
